Cookie Policy
Effective date: July 17, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Object Remover (“Object Remover,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on objectremover.com. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
Object Remover is a free online image-editing tool that can be used without creating an account or signing in. Cookies are not used to store the photos you upload, the areas you select for removal, or the generated image results.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your browser or device. They can help a website remember preferences, operate securely, understand how visitors use the service, or support advertising. Some cookies expire when you close your browser, while others remain until their expiry date or until you delete them.
Similar technologies, such as local storage, may store information in your browser but are not technically cookies. This policy covers them where they serve a similar purpose.
2. Cookies and Similar Technologies We Use
| Category | Purpose | Typical examples | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Preference | Remembers the language you select so future visits can use the appropriate localized version of the site. | NEXT_LOCALE | Up to 1 year |
| Essential and security | Supports secure delivery, traffic management, fraud prevention, and other core website operations. Our hosting or infrastructure providers may set these when technically necessary. | Provider-dependent | Session or provider-defined |
| Analytics | If Google Analytics is enabled, it helps us understand aggregate traffic and usage patterns, such as visited pages, approximate location, device type, and referral source. | Google Analytics cookies such as _ga and _ga_* | Set by Google; commonly up to 2 years and subject to configuration |
| Advertising | If Google AdSense is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver, limit, measure, and personalize ads, depending on your settings, consent choices, and applicable law. | Google advertising cookies and identifiers | Set by Google and its partners |
3. When Optional Services Are Active
Analytics and advertising services are configuration-dependent and may not be active on every visit, environment, or version of Object Remover. When active, these services are provided by Google, which may receive information such as your IP address, browser and device information, page activity, and advertising interactions in accordance with Google’s own policies.
Object Remover currently does not require user accounts for its core image-removal service. Therefore, you do not need an authentication cookie to upload and process an image through the public tool.
4. Your Choices
Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies through their privacy or site-data settings. Blocking preference cookies may prevent the site from remembering your chosen language. Blocking essential cookies may affect features that depend on secure or stable website delivery.
- Manage Google advertising preferences through Google My Ad Center.
- Learn about Google’s use of cookies and data on partner sites in Google’s partner-site policy.
- You can also use browser-level tracking protection or private-browsing controls, subject to the behavior of your chosen browser.
5. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when our technology, service providers, or legal obligations change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
